GORUCK Selection is the world’s hardest endurance event. With under 5% of participants finishing<\/a>, it is an epic beat down for body and soul. If you think you have what it takes to complete GORUCK Selection<\/a>, you’re probably wrong.<\/p>\n Format<\/strong><\/p>\n The entire GORUCK Selection training plan is available below for free.<\/p>\n If you\u2019d like a fancy PDF version, tough. You’re training for Selection. You’ll take what I give you and like it.<\/p>\n Assumption<\/strong><\/p>\n If you\u2019re wanting to train for a\u00a0GORUCK Selection<\/a>, I\u2019m going to assume that you\u2019re F*n insane. I’d tell you to check with a doctor, use wisdom, and train responsibly, but you’re obviously not going to do that.<\/p>\n Plan or Guide?<\/strong><\/p>\n This\u00a0GORUCK Selection<\/a>\u00a0training plan is designed to be a\u00a0guide<\/em>\u00a0for your training. You know your\u00a0unique training needs better than I do. Actually, that’s probably not true. You are obviously delusional because you think that you can complete Selection. So, you probably have no idea what your unique training needs are. Either way, I guess,\u00a0you can change, add, or subtract, anything you want. While it is \u201ca\u201d plan, feel free to use it as a guide and adjust as your unique needs dictate.<\/p>\n Should I also do strength training?<\/strong><\/p>\n No way. You’re good.<\/p>\n What you need.<\/strong><\/p>\n I highly recommend you get:<\/p>\n Before you begin.<\/strong><\/p>\n Read our\u00a0disclaimer<\/a>. Be smart in your training. Be safe in your rucking. Send feedback, ideas, and pictures of you getting your Selection patch to ryan\u00a0AT ruck.training. And, may God have mercy on your soul.<\/p>\n Tapering<\/strong><\/p>\n This guide does not have a taper period. But neither does life. Basically, Selection starts right now. Get to work.<\/p>\n Week One Recommended Reading:<\/strong><\/p>\n Day 1<\/strong><\/p>\n Wake up before everyone. Day 2\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Same as yesterday, only work harder and do more.<\/p>\n Day 3 thru Selection<\/strong><\/p>\n See day 2.<\/p>\n ===<\/p>\n Seriously though. If you want to complete Selection, it will take unbelievable work. Odds are, you’re going to need more than some “guide” you found on the internet. Dig around and see what other finishers have done to prepare<\/a>. It will take everything you have, and that might not even be enough.
